DisplayPilot does not collect personal data, run analytics, show advertising, track you, or upload diagnostic reports. The app does not require an MTTech account.
Information stored on your Mac
The app stores preferences needed to provide its features, including interface settings, confirmed display-mode choices, favorites, and reconnect preferences. These values remain in the app’s local container or preferences domain on your Mac.
Display identity is represented using hardware characteristics needed to match a monitor safely. Transient Core Graphics display and mode identifiers are not persisted as stable identity.
Diagnostics
DisplayPilot can generate a diagnostic report locally. The preview is designed to omit Apple Account information, document names and paths, browser data, credentials, and unrelated personal information. The report leaves your Mac only if you explicitly copy, export, or send it.
Purchases
If you obtain a paid feature through the Mac App Store, Apple processes the transaction and provides the app with entitlement status. MTTech does not receive your complete payment-card information. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Network access
The app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, or diagnostic-upload service. Opening a website or App Store subscription-management page is an explicit user action handled by macOS.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, external fonts, or third-party scripts. The hosting server necessarily processes basic connection information, such as an IP address and requested path, to deliver pages and protect the service. It is not used to build advertising profiles or sold to third parties.
Children’s privacy
DisplayPilot does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes
If the app’s data practices materially change, this policy and the App Store privacy declaration will be updated before the changed version is released.
